Eight of the 18 songs posted here are NOT even by Donnie Brooks. "Moon In My Window" for example is CHARLIE FLENER on Tempwood 1034 from 1962. I don't know how the compiler of this collection included the other fake songs - Did You Ever See A Dream Walking / Baby Where Are You / The Question / Tell Me / Open Your Arms / Someday / Tavern Song. They don't even sound remotely like Donnie. Check his actual releases at 45cat.

Others are Dick Bush, Johnny Faire, Johnny Jordan and even Johnny Rivers (7 other artists shared this name). He appeared on different labels (Surf,Fable,Era,London,Reprise,Challenge,Yardbird) which may explain a difference in how he sounded. I don't think the compiler at Era Records was a nincompoop (but you never know for sure).
